Seasonal care: steadying sleep and stress

· 4 min read

Sleep is a rhythm before it is a duration. When treatment for insomnia stalls, the cause is usually an irregular signal — late screens, late meals, or a body that never fully warms during the day.

Acupuncture can quiet an overactive stress response quickly, and patients often report deeper sleep after the first few sessions. Holding that change is a matter of daily rhythm.

Three adjustments help most: morning daylight within an hour of waking, a warm evening meal finished three hours before bed, and ten minutes of slow nasal breathing before lights out.

We revisit these at each visit and adjust the point prescription as the season and your symptoms shift.
